Chef Evan Burrows
From a young age, Evan Burrow knew he was destined to be a chef. His love for food and natural talent in the kitchen were apparent even as a child, and that early passion has driven a remarkable career spanning continents, cuisines, and some of the most prestigious tables in the world.
Evan holds a Level 3 in Commercial Cookery, the highest qualification for a chef in the UK, and his early training included a formative experience in one of Gordon Ramsay’s kitchens. There, he mastered the discipline, precision, and philosophy that would define his cooking: use every ingredient, reduce waste, and respect the planet.
Evan has cooked for three State Openings of Parliament, the late Queen Elizabeth, King Charles, former PM David Cameron, and numerous dignitaries, as well as sports legends like Lord Ian Botham.
He now runs his own café bar in Albert Park, supports charities including MND, has helped set up the Beer and Beef Club in Tokyo, and is organising an AFL Gather Round event at Coopers Brewery.
Evan blends technique, passion, and sustainability, ensuring every plate tells a story.
