The TGH Gut-Healing Bowl

A soothing, satisfying bowl that’s easy on digestion and rich in hypernutrition.

  

Ingredients:

  • 1      cup cooked quinoa or brown rice
  • 1      cup steamed broccoli
  • ½     cup roasted sweet potato cubes
  • ½     cup shredded red cabbage (lightly sautéed or raw, if tolerated)
  • ¼     cup shredded red onion
  • ¼     avocado, sliced
  • 2     tbsp sauerkraut or fermented carrot
  • Handful of fresh herbs: parsley, mint, or coriander
  • Sprinkle of hemp seeds or sunflower seeds

Dressing:

  • 1 tbsp tahini
  • Juice  of ½ lemon
  • ½  tsp turmeric powder
  • 1  tsp palm sugar
  • 1  tsp grated ginger
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Water to thin

To Serve:
Layer ingredients in a bowl. Drizzle with dressing. Top with seeds and herbs. Eat slowly, with intention.
